For beautifully enhanced eyebrows and non-smudge eyeliner semi-permanent make-up is the solution. Also known as Microblading, SPMU is the impregnation of coloured pigments into the skin to replicate make-up creating beautiful and fresh looks that last all day every day, fading slowly with time. Hypo-allergenic pigments are used to create a completely safe and effective treatment. Whatever look you are after this can be achieved, it can be worn alone or complimented with additional make-up.
Whether you are looking to enhance your features or would like to correct or create symmetry of a feature, then SPMU may be just what you are looking for. With its advanced new techniques SMPU will enhance and compliment your features and bring to life your natural beauty.
Who is SPMU/MICROBLADING suitable for?
Suitable for most people, particularly those:
- Who are looking to enhance or achieve a greater definition of their existing features
- Who have very little hair (perhaps from over plucking or illness)
- People with alopecia who have lost facial hair, including eyebrows or eyelashes
- Active/sports people who have little time to apply make-up
- Those allergic to conventional make-up products
- Those with poor eyesight or an unsteady hand
Is SPMU safe?
This treatment is perfectly safe, the Pigments used are pharmaceutical grade, made of natural iron oxide, non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and have been EU regulated. Only pre-packed, brand new sterile cartridges are used for each client. A patch test is also carried out 24 hours prior to treatment to ensure no allergic reactions.
Is the treatment painful?
Every client is different but with the use of advanced techniques and anaesthetic creams throughout the treatment client comfort is maintained.
How long will the procedure take?
You should allow a minimum of 2½ – 3 hours for a new procedure. If you are having an eyeliner procedure contact lenses must be removed and bring along glasses to wear home.
How much does it cost?
Prices range from £150 – £500. Generally, eyebrows and eyeliner average around £250 per area. A follow-up procedure around 4-6 weeks from your first treatment may be included in the price depending on the package you choose, and this ensures complete satisfaction and evenness of colour. This will be discussed at your consultation.
Following treatment, it is essential that all the aftercare advice you are given is adhered to. Immediately after the procedure there will be some blanching of the surrounding skin area, this whiteness subsides quickly. Once the treatment area is healed you will be left with a more subtle, softer appearance. Attending your follow up visit is vital to ensure a perfect finish is achieved.
- Please note: With all SPMU treatments the colour may fade after healing – up to 20-40% with all treatments.
